Black Nova Designs, a Wiltshire-based web design and hosting firm, is delighted to announce its sponsorship of the Event Horse of the Year category at the prestigious Horse & Hound annual awards.
The awards aim to celebrate and honour outstanding achievements and contributions within the equestrian industry and are organised and hosted by Horse & Hound, the much-loved weekly British equestrian magazine. The awards bring together riders, trainers, breeders and other individuals who have made significant contributions to the equestrian community.
Black Nova is the trusted web design and hosting partner for a wide range of equestrian clients from professional riders and breeders to retailers, coaches and competition and training venues, helping them to establish an online presence and grow their business. These include Breen Equestrian, Lucinda Fredericks, Event Horse Syndicate.
Danielle Holmes, co-founder of Black Nova Designs is a keen rider and has been part of the equestrian community since childhood. Animals, particularly horses, are very important to her.
“Horses and dogs have been and always will be part of my life. This world is ‘home’ to me and I’m very proud that our business is able to be part of such a prestigious event,” she said.
That means the team at Black Nova Designs are uniquely positioned to appreciate the partnership between rider and horse that is key to success in the exhilarating sport of eventing.
Eventing, also known as horse trials or three-day eventing, is an equestrian sport that combines three different disciplines into a single competition: dressage, cross-country and show jumping. It is often considered a comprehensive test of both the horse and the rider’s skills, versatility, and athleticism.
The Event Horse of the Year will be a closely contested award and the team at Black Nova Designs is excited to see who triumphs.
“At Black Nova Designs we’ve worked hard both supporting events in the south, from Badminton and Barbury to Cirencester Park and Gatcombe, and tirelessly networked at equestrian events. Being able to support these awards is the cherry on the cake and I’m so looking forward to seeing which horse is crowned ‘Event Horse of the Year’ 2023,” Danielle, who is Black Nova’s sales and marketing manager, said.
The winner of the Event Horse of the Year category and the rest of the awards will be unveiled during a glittering ceremony at Dallas Burston Polo Club in Warwickshire on Wednesday 22 November where hundreds of guests are expected to attend, including Olympic and Paralympic riders, charity figures and influencers.
