The prestigious awards ceremony, the highlight of the year for a billion-pound sector that enables the UK’s water and sewer systems to operate, is set to take place on 14 March. It celebrates excellence and innovation within the pump sector, and the winners will be presented their awards by broadcaster, actor and former England rugby player, Martin Bayfield.

The recognition of Anglo Pumps as a finalist underscores the company’s commitment to delivering best-in-class products and services, with a history of engineering excellence and conservation, consistently demonstrating quality.

The categories in which Anglo Pumps is named as a finalist include:

  • Environmental Contribution of the Year  (Reuse, Recycle, Reduce: extending the life of pumps)
  • Project of the Year  (St James Park Lake pump removal and refurbishment)
  • Distributor of the Year
  • Contribution to Skills and Training

“We are honoured and excited that Anglo Pumps is recognised as a finalist in multiple categories for the Pump Industry Awards. It’s a testament to the hard work, enthusiasm, and spirit of the team” said Nico Gaisman, Metcor Group’s CEO.

“With our sister company, Metcor Environmental, winning National Drainage Contractor of the Year just a couple of months ago, it underlines the whole group’s dedication to delivering sustainable, quality services.”

The Pump Industry Awards are known for celebrating outstanding achievements, and being named a finalist reflects the high standards set by Anglo Pumps in the sector.

Danny Burden, General Manager, Anglo Pumps, added: “This is the very first time we’ve entered anything quite like this, so it’s a huge privilege. Anglo Pumps sends a massive thanks to its employees, clients, and partners for their ongoing support and collaboration. The company remains committed to advancing the pump industry through continued innovation, training, quality products, and exceptional service.”
