This weekend, from Friday, 8th August, to Sunday, 10th August, drivers in Spain should prepare for exceptionally heavy traffic.

A combination of August holiday travel and several major events, including a Blackpink concert and the ongoing Circuit Festival in Barcelona, will cause significant congestion on major motorways, particularly the A-7 and AP-7.

Expect the busiest periods to be Friday afternoon, Saturday morning, and Sunday evening.

Looking ahead, a major traffic operation is forecast for next week due to the national holiday on 15th August.
