We are delighted to introduce White Doves Group, the latest musical project from Mad Black Cat.
White Doves Group is a little different from some of the artists and projects we work with. Created around the compositions of Marcus Hobbes, the group is about music that does not necessarily need to be front and centre. Instead, it is music designed to belong somewhere.
The first release, Between Midnight and Morning, is a 14-track collection of gentle, atmospheric sleep music. The tracks share a deliberately consistent sound, rhythm and feel, allowing the music to flow naturally from one piece to the next without sudden changes or distractions.
And that is very much the point.
White Doves Group creates music for the spaces between things: sleep, quiet evenings, reflective moments, journeys, cafés, background listening and all those occasions where music can help create a mood without demanding attention.
Not every piece of music needs to shout.
Sometimes it just needs to be there.
We are very pleased to welcome White Doves Group to the Mad Black Cat family, and we look forward to seeing where this quietly evolving project takes us.
