A 2D animation style illustration on a 4:3 canvas showing ODC and Lanson, the two black cats, in a conceptual outdoor scene depicting the death of traditional advertising and the rise of targeted online digital platforms. On the left, ODC, a sleek black cat wearing a blindfold, is awkwardly holding open a large, messy newspaper, representing blindness to the changing advertising landscape. Her distinct red collar and silver bell are visible. Scattered around her on the ground are crumpled newspapers, flyers, and a dilapidated, overgrown billboard sign that reads 'ADVERTISE HERE!', highlighting the decline of traditional media.

A 2D animation concept illustration of a spooky Halloween scene set at night beneath a glowing full moon. ODC, a sleek black cat wearing a purple witch hat with a gold buckle and her signature red collar and silver bell, smiles beside Lanson, a smaller fluffy black kitten dressed in an orange pumpkin costume. They are surrounded by carved, glowing jack-o-lanterns, melting candles, floating cartoon ghosts, spiders hanging from intricate webs in bare autumn trees, silhouettes of bats, and scattered fallen leaves on the ground, all rendered in a clean-line vector style with rich purple and orange tones.

On the left, ODC, a sleek adult black cat wearing a red collar with a silver bell, is dressed in a red and yellow Spanish football kit, accompanied by a blue and white England bobble hat and scarf whilst holding a small Spain pennant. On the right, Lanson, a small fluffy black kitten, wears an England football shirt along with a red and yellow Spanish striped bobble hat and scarf, looking up whilst holding a small England pennant.

The Week Ahead: Diplomatic Crosswinds and the Rhythm of Autumn

20 September 2026

A 2D animation style illustration in a four-to-three aspect ratio showing the black cat, ODC, and the small black kitten, Lanson, celebrating Spain's national day outside the Royal Palace of Madrid. ODC is dressed in a traditional black and red flamenco dress with a red carnation tucked near her ear, wearing her signature red collar with a round silver pendant. Beside her, Lanson wears a matching Spanish waistcoat and a traditional dark flat cap. In the sky above the grand palace courtyard, aerobatic jets from the Eagle Patrol perform a flypast, releasing trailing smoke in the red and yellow colours of the Spanish flag. The courtyard is decorated with draped Spanish bunting, flags on lampposts, and colourful falling confetti, with crowds of people cheering in the background.

The Week Ahead: Festive Roads, Ancient Omens and Autumn Decisions

A 2D vector animation style illustration, in a 4:3 aspect ratio, showing ODC and Lanson, the two black cats from the reference material, celebrating in a stylized park during autumn. ODC, the sleek black cat, stands on her hind legs, holding a small flag with the red and yellow stripes and crest of Spain. She wears her distinct red collar with the silver bell. Lanson, the smaller, fluffier black kitten, stands beside her, also holding a small flag with the blue and gold senyera of the Valencian Community. Both are smiling. They are on a paved path with generic lampposts. The background is a park filled with stylized, mostly bare trees, and a shower of brown and gold autumn leaves is drifting slowly down. Bunting in festive autumn colors hangs between the trees. The light is a warm, late-afternoon glow. There is no readable text, only generic festive decorations. The entire composition has a clean, hand-drawn vector art aesthetic with no photorealism.

A clean-line vector illustration, in a 4:3 aspect ratio, featuring ODC, the sleek black cat wearing a red collar and a silver bell, and Lanson, the fluffy black kitten, playing enthusiastically in a large pile of scattered autumn leaves. They are batting leaves into the air, their happy expressions matching the art style. The scene is a park path lined with stylized, bare autumnal trees under a warm, golden twilight sky. In the background, to the sides of the path, are several carved pumpkins (jack-o'-lanterns) with flickering candlelight faces, set among more fallen leaves, creating a clear preparation for the spooky season. The entire composition is integrated into the cartoon environment.
